Impact of Gun Violence on Youth Hosted in our Building

The Children’s Alliance, along with NC Child, hosted Impact of Gun Violence on Youth in our building on Wednesday, November 6.  They invited speakers from the police department and school system to help attendees better understand the issues facing our children and to seek ways to address them.  Additionally, the event explored the increasing problem of gun violence in our community and the impact it has on our children.  The speakers also addressed potential solutions for improving community safety.  You can read more about the event here.
